The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a looping right.

James throws out a loose jab but Head uses good head movement to avoid it.

and James counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Head looks gassed!

James throws a nice looking combination but Head bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
James bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Head's head.
James lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and James counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and James counters with a nice uppercut.
James fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Head misses with a left hand
and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

James is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

James clobbers Head with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
James comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Head dodges the punch combination from James.
Head takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Head takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Head is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Head has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

William Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Head gets cracked there but stands up to it.

James thuds a left hand into Head's body.
Head throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Head throws a left and a right that both miss
and James counters with a left to the body.
James cracks Head with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Head takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for James.

Head is rocked!
James swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Head is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James lands with a right and another and another! Head is in big trouble! James lands again and this time it's lights out for Head! A quality knockout there for James.
