The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominic misses with a shot to the body
and Garner counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dominic won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dominic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Garner is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dominic will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Garner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A punch lands to the side of Garner 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dominic enables Garner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dominic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Dominic looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Garner has picked Dominic up and slammed him! Dominic can't keep hold of the triangle and Garner manages to pass to side control!

Garner shoots in and bounces Dominic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Garner is fighting to break Dominic's control of his arms but Dominic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Garner is posturing up here but Dominic has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Garner tries to roll out but it's too tight and Garner has to tap! Slick submission there by Dominic!
