PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Boom!. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jordan avoids it really well and circles away.
Jordan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jordan swivels and escapes.
Perry drops his hands momentarily and Jordan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perry tries for a takedown but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Justin Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Perry.

and Perry counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jordan won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jordan tries to buck Perry off but Perry is having none of it.

Perry looks up at the clock and then as Jordan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Perry smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jordan wants to control but Perry postures up.
Jordan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Perry connects with a decent elbow.

Perry lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jordan down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perry decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Perry tries for a takedown but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Perry looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Perry throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jordan was covering up waiting for the punch and Perry finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Perry is looking to work some ground and pound but Jordan has wrist control.

Perry slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Perry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jordan is rocked!
Jordan takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Perry's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
