The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Belanger.
Belanger moves out of range as Gr strikes.
Gr checks a leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Belanger.
Belanger cracks Gr with a good jab.

Gr moves forwards but Belanger connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Belanger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Belanger lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Belanger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gr.
Belanger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Gr avoids a series of strikes thrown by Belanger.

Belanger unloads with some shots from mount but Gr bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Belanger is looking to take a break and control but Gr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Belanger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Belanger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Belanger is stalling in the full guard.
Belanger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gr has his feet on Belanger's thighs here. He's pushed Belanger off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Belanger screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
