Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slither by Velvet Revolver . Brian Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kirby Jay Navarro's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook but Navarro blocks it.

Navarro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Navarro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that Navarro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Navarro on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Navarro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Navarro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!
