Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvante fails with the takedown
letting Guevara counter with a right hand.
It looks like Luigi Calvante has been cut.
Calvante misses with a takedown attempt
and Guevara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guevara tries to score with a low kick but Calvante moves his leg out of the way.
Guevara misses with a head kick.
Guevara closes the distance but Calvante moves to the side
and Calvante decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guevara's guard.
Calvante sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guevara's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Calvante throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Calvante has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Calvante lands with a punch from half guard.
Calvante seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guevara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Calvante content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Calvante is looking for a kimura here.
Guevara wants to improve his position but Calvante is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Calvante maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Guevara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Calvante has cracked it and Guevara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Calvante!
