Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Lassiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laldama Sailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sailo gets a takedown into half guard.
Sailo is controlling the pace.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Laldama Sailo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Lassiter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sailo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lassiter was covering up waiting for the punch and Sailo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sailo wants to finish this one by submission but Lassiter is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sailo.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sailo is looking to take a break and control but Lassiter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sailo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Lassiter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sailo drops his hands momentarily and Lassiter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lassiter throws a series of strikes that have Sailo backpedaling.
Lassiter lands with a shot to the body.
Sailo has a takedown stuffed.
Sailo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lassiter stuns Sailo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gerald Lassiter dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sailo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lassiter's waist but Lassiter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sailo off to one side.

Sailo is pressing down on Lassiter's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lassiter is holding on for now.
Sailo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sailo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Sailo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lassiter connects with a body shot.
Lassiter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lassiter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sailo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gerald Lassiter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laldama Sailo.
Lassiter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sailo under the eye.
Lassiter scores with a hook to the body. Sailo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Lassiter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sailo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Laldama Sailo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lassiter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sailo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sailo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

A jab from Lassiter finds it's way through Sailo's defenses.

Sailo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lassiter.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
