Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adin Wrenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wrenton comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - I'm Going Slightly Mad. Holmes has chosen Bodies, by Drowning Pool as his entrance music. Adin Wrenton has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrenton misses with a looping right.
Holmes wants to clinch but Wrenton slips to the side
and Wrenton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jhon Holmes has been cut.
Jhon Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wrenton misses with a straight left.
Holmes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wrenton.

Wrenton rushes Holmes and presses him up against the cage.

Wrenton throws a punch but it's blocked by Holmes.

Wrenton pushes Holmes back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Wrenton cracks Holmes with a nice body shot.

Wrenton presses Holmes against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Wrenton avoids a wild elbow strike from Holmes.
Wrenton pushes Holmes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Wrenton.
Wrenton is leaning against Holmes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Wrenton gets through Holmes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Wrenton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Holmes throws an elbow that misses.

Wrenton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wrenton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wrenton thuds a left hand into Holmes's body.

Wrenton drops Holmes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Holmes looks back up at him and smiles so Wrenton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Holmes is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes walks straight into a right hand from Wrenton - that's dropped him! Wrenton jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Holmes from any more punishment! Holmes complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
