Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Boladao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and lo Lolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boladao comes into the arena with Boladão de Amor blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lolo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boladao cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boladao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lolo throws an off balance right hand
letting Boladao counter with a right hand.
Lolo throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Boladao to counter with a crisp jab.
Lolo throws a lazy head kick
and Boladao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A head kick by Lolo misses
and Boladao counters with a straight right hand.
Lolo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boladao counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boladao shoots in and bounces Lolo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lolo is wriggling around but Boladao manages to pass to half guard.
Lolo is trying to stand back up but Boladao is controlling him

Still in half guard, Boladao seems content to control.
Boladao is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Boladao seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boladao prevents Lolo from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lolo tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Boladao manages to move to mount!
Boladao controlling the pace for now.
Lolo wants to get back to his feet.

Boladao takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Boladao seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lolo for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rodrigo Boladao just wasn't active enough.
Lolo throws a lazy uppercut
so Boladao counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Lolo wants to stand up but Boladao is controlling him.
