Cross shoots in but no luck this time.

Apina shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Cross is desperately trying to improve his position but Apina has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cross wants to hold on but Apina pushes him away.

Cross tries to bum rush Apina with a series of wild strikes but Apina uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cross lands with a nice combination. Apina backs away looking to recover.

Cross lands an uppercut, right on the button! Apina tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
