The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whiner misses with a takedown
and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Whiner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diaz was covering up waiting for the punch and Whiner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Whiner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Whiner throws a big right hand that misses.
