Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antti Miettinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sex Dwarf. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miettinen has his takedown stuffed

and Souza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miettinen won't be happy with that.

Souza working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Souza tries to move into full mount but can't pass Miettinen's legs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miettinen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Souza off and has taken his back!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miettinen is trying to stick to Souza's back but Souza is turning into Miettinen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miettinen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Souza.

Souza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Souza drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miettinen dives on top into guard.
Miettinen wants to control from the top but Souza keeps moving.

Souza is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miettinen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miettinen's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Souza's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miettinen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Souza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miettinen has managed to get both his arms back between Souza's legs - danger averted.

Souza doesn't manage to clinch there - Miettinen circles away.

Miettinen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Souza is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Miettinen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Miettinen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Souza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Souza controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Souza's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Still in half guard, Souza seems content to control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Souza scores a takedown into full mount!
Souza content just to control the position here.

Souza swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Miettinen is now in Souza's guard. A big mistake from Souza there, giving up the dominant position!

Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miettinen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Miettinen gets caught napping as Souza dives in and scores a takedown. Miettinen manages to retain guard.
Souza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miettinen's guard.

Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miettinen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Miettinen looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Souza! Submission of the night perhaps?
