The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnsson is defended easily by Methan.

and Methan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Clint Johnsson has been cut.

and Methan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Johnsson! Methan lets Johnsson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clint Johnsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Methan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnsson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Methan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnsson drops his hands momentarily. Methan doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Johnsson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Johnsson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
