Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx throws a right hand that Jiurgite ducks under and follows up with a left that Jiurgite also avoids with ease.
Marx misses with a combination
and Jiurgite counters with a left to the body.
Marx swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jiurgite counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marx throws a head kick that misses
so Jiurgite counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Marx wants to stand and escape but Jiurgite is having none of it.
Jiurgite advances position into side control!
Jiurgite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marx keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jiurgite wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marx, who protects the arm well.
Marx bucks up and tries to throw Jiurgite off but instead Jiurgite has got his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jiurgite has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Jiurgite looking to break Marx's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Marx remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jiurgite will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Jiurgite wants to control but Marx is keeping busy.
Jiurgite looking for the choke from the back.
Jiurgite trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jiurgite is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Marx with him. Marx is trying to defend but Jiurgite has an arm under the chin now! Marx grimaces and is forced to tap out!
