Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunderson has chosen Asshole Facing The Firing Squad as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryan Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Phil Gunderson!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker misses with a takedown
and Gunderson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Baker with a poor takedown
and Gunderson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Baker's knee momentarily.
Gunderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Baker's head backwards.
Gunderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.
Baker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gunderson.
Gunderson lunges at Baker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baker's hand.

It looks like Bryan Baker has been cut.
Baker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gunderson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baker backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baker with a lazy takedown attempt
and Gunderson counters with a good low kick that Baker was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker is breathing heavily.
Gunderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunderson.

Baker takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Baker fails with the takedown
and Gunderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Baker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Good shot there by Gunderson.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Baker. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Gunderson lands with a right hand.
Baker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jab, jab by Gunderson - just one landing.

Baker is rocked!
Gunderson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gunderson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Baker seems to have got his legs back now.
Gunderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gunderson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gunderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gunderson.
Gunderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baker.

Gunderson lands a left and a right that send Baker crashing to the mat, dazed. Gunderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bryan Baker's cut is getting worse.
Gunderson is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Baker like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Baker from another fist facial!
