Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Sparing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Whitaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitaker has chosen "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragon Force as his entrance music. Whitaker has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Whitaker!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitaker wants to clinch
and Sparing counters with a stiff right hand.
Sparing has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sparing is trying to trip Whitaker. He has hold of a leg but Whitaker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sparing persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Whitaker looks gassed!
Whitaker keeping full guard, as Sparing tries to pass.
Sparing stands up over Whitaker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sparing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Whitaker on the ground.
Sparing connects with a couple of short punches.
Sparing wants to pass the guard but Whitaker is keeping the position.
Sparing scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sparing keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Whitaker's head.
Sparing with a nice head shot there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Whitaker wants to sweep here but Sparing controlling him for the moment.
Sparing is in close to Whitaker's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sparing lands a couple of elbows.

Sparing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whitaker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Whitaker has momentary wrist control but Sparing slips an elbow through the middle.
Sparing scoring with punches to the head and body.
Whitaker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sparing showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sparing trying to control but Whitaker is working from the bottom.
Sparing makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sparing pushes down on Whitaker's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Sparing is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Whitaker!
Sparing postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Whitaker looks a forlorn figure.
Sparing has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Whitaker's face.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
BOOM! Sparing connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sparing lands a heavy elbow.

Sparing lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Sparing unloading with bombs!
Whitaker is in a horrible position here. Sparing smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sparing with shots to the head and body - Whitaker looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sparing cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Sparing postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Whitaker in real trouble here! The ref calls for Whitaker to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wrestling Sparing!
