PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Mozart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sue Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mozart might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Falco - Rock Me Amadeus. Jackson has chosen Tässä Tulee Hirmuinen Rölli as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mozart is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mozart.
Mozart is breathing heavily.
Mozart throws an overhand right that lands on Jackson's shoulder, as Jackson tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson tests Mozart's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jackson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Mozart is rocked!

It looks like Wolfgang Mozart has been cut.
Mozart displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab.
Mozart takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mozart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson.
Mozart drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jackson connects with a body shot that sends Mozart's belly button to the back.

Jackson throws the left hand but Mozart avoids the punch easily.

Wolfgang Mozart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mozart's head.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mozart moves away.
Jackson throws the left hand but Mozart avoids the punch easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Mozart blocks the leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Mozart does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackson scores with a nice strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jackson cracks Mozart with a right hand to the side of the head.
Oh Mozart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OH! Mozart has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Jackson smells blood and charges in for the finish! Jackson unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Mozart sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
