Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Linford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fire it up. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linford throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Linford thinking.
Rock throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Linford counters with a left to the body.
Rock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rock tries to bum rush Linford with a series of wild strikes but Linford uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rock.
Linford throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Linford moves away.
Linford throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rock counters with a takedown into side control.

Rock decides to stand back up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rock closes the distance and pushes Linford back into the cage.
Rock lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Linford can't break the clinch.
Linford is trying to break the clinch but Rock has him pressed against the cage.
Rock lands with a left to the head.

Linford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rock looks to score with a jab to the body but Linford is just out of range.
Rock shoots in looking for a takedown. Linford tries to sprawl out of it but Rock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Linford manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Linford scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Rock darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Linford connects with a body shot.
Rock is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Linford clobbers Rock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
