Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Cahoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyan Cadell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Run to the Hills kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cadell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Cadell tries to clinch up
and Cadell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cahoon doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Cadell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cahoon manages to break the clinch.

Cahoon moves into the clinch.

Cadell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Cahoon counters by clinching up.

Cadell really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cahoon.

Cahoon shoots for a takedown but Cadell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Cahoon counters with a shoot takedown. Cadell fights it but they end up in guard.
Cadell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cahoon is trying to escape the mount.
The referee warns Cahoon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cadell is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cahoon defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Cadell has his opponent's back but Cahoon is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Cadell.

Cadell lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Cadell digs a right hand into Cahoon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cahoon's gas tank.

and Cadell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cahoon won't be happy with that.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cadell postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Cahoon to stand up.

Cadell moves into the clinch successfully.
Cadell works on Cahoon's body with a couple of short punches.
Cahoon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cadell walks away with a smile on his face. Cahoon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cadell shoots in and bounces Cahoon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Cadell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cahoon, up you get!

and Cahoon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cadell won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
