Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ted Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michi Dogbrother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Bundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michi Dogbrother!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogbrother tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bundy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dogbrother closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dogbrother gets tackled into the cage by Bundy. Bundy maintains the clinch.

and Bundy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dogbrother is pressed up against the cage. Bundy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dogbrother down to the mat. Dogbrother avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bundy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dogbrother gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bundy is working Dogbrother over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dogbrother escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bundy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dogbrother is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dogbrother has his foot on Bundy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bundy works his way back into a safe position though.

Bundy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Bundy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dogbrother looks a forlorn figure.

Bundy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dogbrother to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dogbrother shrugs it off.
Bundy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dogbrother can do anything to dispel that myth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bundy wants to control the pace but Dogbrother is squirming around nicely.
Bundy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dogbrother is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
