The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redondo gets a takedown into half guard.
Salamanca wants to improve his position but Redondo is controlling well.
Salamanca trying to control but Redondo postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redondo wants to stand but Salamanca has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Redondo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salamanca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Salamanca gets back to full guard.
Redondo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Salamanca to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Redondo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Salamanca pulls down on the head and he's put Redondo to sleep! This one is all over!
