Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deni Subasic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Birk Smygare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Subasic comes to the cage accompanied by American Dream. Deni Subasic had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smygare defending well as Subasic loads up on a big left hand.
Smygare throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Smygare tries for a takedown but Subasic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Subasic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Subasic has a takedown stuffed.
Smygare throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Subasic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Subasic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smygare has escaped the position, nice work there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Smygare closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Subasic slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Subasic keeping moving, preventing Smygare from controlling successfully.
Subasic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smygare doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smygare manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Subasic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Smygare is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Subasic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Smygare's back instead.

Subasic is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Smygare has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Subasic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smygare doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Subasic.

Subasic seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smygare is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
