DeSilva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Todd Rundgren - Bang On The Drum All Day. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson dives in and grabs DeSilva's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeSilva pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.
DeSilva connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and DeSilva counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Johnson misses with a lunging right hand
and DeSilva counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
DeSilva lands a glancing blow to the side of Johnson's head.
Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but DeSilva circles away.

Fabiano DeSilva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Johnson.

DeSilva is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

DeSilva pounces like a tiger and cracks Johnson with a vicious hook! Johnson is down but not out! DeSilva follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
