Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Chinaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Henry Chinaski has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson wants to clinch.
Chinaski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Patterson's head.

Patterson tries to keep at a distance but Chinaski has taken the fight into the clinch.
Chinaski lands a right hand.

Chinaski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chinaski turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Patterson looks gassed!
Chinaski throws a low kick but it's checked well by Patterson.

Chinaski rushes Patterson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chinaski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Patterson or not.

Chinaski breaks the clinch.
Chinaski tries a low kick but Patterson avoids it.
Chinaski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Patterson. That did some damage!
Chinaski lands with a kick to the temple. Patterson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Pete Patterson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chinaski gets a clinch.

Chinaski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chinaski keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chinaski connects with a right hand. Patterson shakes it off.
Chinaski scores with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chinaski! Patterson is out on his feet! Chinaski rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Patterson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Patterson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
