The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint James throws a front kick aimed at Masni's knee but Masni avoids it well.
Masni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Masni looks to clinch

and Saint James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Saint James.
Masni looks gassed!
Saint James slips nicely into half guard.
Saint James lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saint James connects with a nice short shot to Masni's temple.

Saint James decides to stand and escape the position.
Masni closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saint James circles away.

Saint James lands a big right hand that sends Masni crashing to the mat! Saint James stays standing though and waves Masni back to his feet!

Masni is rocked!

It looks like Kruno Masni has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saint James feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Masni crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
