These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandapat misses with a hook
and Corleone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mandapat throws a right hand that misses
and Corleone counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Corleone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Corleone lands a nice shot to the body.
Mandapat looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Corleone listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mandapat ducks under a wild hook from Corleone.
Mandapat moves forwards but Corleone connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Corleone lands a lovely overhand right.
Corleone cracks Mandapat on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mandapat falls backwards against the cage. Corleone follows up with more strikes that drop Mandapat to his knees. Corleone keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mandapat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gus Corleone!
