Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Shoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuai Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shoryu comes to the cage accompanied by Undertaking the Work of the Lord by Hatewire. Lai has chosen CKY - Chinese Rap as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoryu misses with the body kick
enabling Lai to counter with a crisp jab.
Shoryu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice cross by Shoryu.
Shoryu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shoryu throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Lai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lai looks to land a body kick but Shoryu moved away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Shoryu. That's going to slow Lai down.
Shoryu thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lai takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shoryu scores with a head kick.

It looks like Kuai Lai has been cut.
Shoryu lands with a kick to the temple. Lai shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Shoryu throws a sloppy head kick
and Lai counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Lai attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lai throws a front kick that sends Shoryu stumbling back into the cage.
Shoryu is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shoryu throws a sloppy head kick
and Lai counters with a thumping low kick.
Lai feints and then cracks Shoryu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shoryu down.
Ken Shoryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shoryu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lai.
Lai throws a front kick aimed at Shoryu's knee but Shoryu avoids it well.
Lai misses with a low kick.
Shoryu throws the kick towards the body but Lai avoids it.
Shoryu misses with an uppercut
and Lai counters with a good low kick that Shoryu was not able to check.
Shoryu misses with a left hand
and Lai counters with a good, hard body kick but Shoryu shrugs it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lai sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Shoryu to the ground! Lai dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Ken Shoryu has been cut.
Lai lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Shoryu hang on?
Lai connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Shoryu is rocked!
A big strike lands for Lai! That's really hurt Shoryu and he's turned his back - Lai keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lai jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
