Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laz Herculus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Lockridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lockridge tries for a takedown but Herculus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lockridge shoots in but Herculus avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lockridge closes this distance looking for a takedown but Herculus circles away.
Laz Herculus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Lockridge.

Lockridge on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lockridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Herculus as he jumps to the side.
Herculus throws a series of strikes that have Lockridge backpedaling.

It looks like Rocky Lockridge has been cut.
Lockridge looks gassed!
Herculus lands a nice hook to Lockridge's body. Lockridge takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lockridge takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lockridge is trying desperately to land a takedown but Herculus is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lockridge.
Herculus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Herculus lands a left and a right that send Lockridge crashing to the mat, dazed. Herculus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lockridge is rocked!
Herculus lands with a big left! Lockridge is wobbled badly! Herculus comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Lockridge to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
