The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sdsdsd decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Emelianenko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sdsdsd wants to pass the guard but Emelianenko is keeping the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sdsdsd is trying hard to land a takedown here. Emelianenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Emelianenko cracks Sdsdsd with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sdsdsd looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Emelianenko finish him?

Sdsdsd wants to control from the top but Emelianenko keeps moving.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sdsdsd shoots for a takedown but Emelianenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sdsdsd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Emelianenko's waist but Emelianenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sdsdsd off to one side.
Sdsdsd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Sdsdsd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Emelianenko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sdsdsd momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emelianenko drops Sdsdsd with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sdsdsd! Emelianenko dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
