The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WerbenJaegerManJensen throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Couture to counter with a crisp jab.
WerbenJaegerManJensen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Couture misses with a takedown attempt - WerbenJaegerManJensen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Couture fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but WerbenJaegerManJensen avoids it really well and circles away.
WerbenJaegerManJensen fails to land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Couture or perhaps it was just good defense by WerbenJaegerManJensen which made him look bad.
Smitty WerbenJaegerManJensen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Couture.

Couture tries to clinch but WerbenJaegerManJensen moves out of range.

WerbenJaegerManJensen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Couture, pushing him back against the cage.

WerbenJaegerManJensen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Couture tries to clinch but WerbenJaegerManJensen is having none of it.

A looping hook to the body misses from WerbenJaegerManJensen. Couture does a little dance to reset his feet.
No joy there for WerbenJaegerManJensen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Couture paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
WerbenJaegerManJensen cracks Couture with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
WerbenJaegerManJensen drops Couture with a straight right hand, right on the button! WerbenJaegerManJensen follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
