The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor moves into the clinch successfully.
Calamitius comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like jayceon Taylor has been cut.
Taylor is looking to break free of the clinch but Calamitius has double underhooks.
Taylor takes a knee right on the jaw!
Calamitius misses with a knee strike.
Taylor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Calamitius has him pressed against the cage.
Taylor can't find room to land a body shot as Calamitius controls the action.
Calamitius comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Calamitius lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Calamitius breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Taylor throws a left and a right that both miss

and Calamitius counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Calamitius.

Calamitius lands an elbow that stopped Taylor in his tracks for a moment.

That has opened up jayceon Taylor's cut even more.
Calamitius lands an elbow inside.
Taylor is trying to force a seperation but Calamitius has the dominant position.

Calamitius lands an elbow inside that Taylor shrugs off.
Calamitius gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The cut above jayceon Taylor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Taylor takes a knee right on the jaw!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Calamitius connects with a knee to the head.

jayceon Taylor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
