Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykin lands with a kick to the temple. Ang shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Boykin misses with a left hand

and Ang counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ang throws and elbow that misses. Boykin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ang's guard. Nice move by Boykin!

Ang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boykin defends it easily.
Boykin won't allow Ang to sweep him here.
Ang is working hard here to advance position.
Ang avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boykin wants to control from the top but Ang keeps moving.
Ang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boykin is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boykin throws a sloppy strike and Ang has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Boykin is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Ang!
