The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones.
Jones scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
Jones scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jackson is trying to escape and Jones transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jackson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jones! Very nice indeed!
