Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Dourado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mabishiro Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcelo Dourado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 35 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mabishiro Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakamoto closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Dourado counter with a right hand.
Sakamoto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dourado lands with a kick to the temple. Sakamoto shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Mabishiro Sakamoto has been cut.
Dourado really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sakamoto takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice sprawl there from Dourado as Sakamoto shoots in.
Dourado connects with a high kick.
Sakamoto thows a leg kick but Dourado checks it
and Dourado counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Sakamoto on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sakamoto takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mabishiro Sakamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakamoto throws a lazy body kick
and Dourado counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dourado scores with a head kick. Sakamoto tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Dourado throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sakamoto is rocked!
A chopping leg kick lands by Dourado.
Sakamoto looks gassed!
Sakamoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dourado counters with a solid body kick.
Marcelo Dourado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mabishiro Sakamoto.
Sakamoto takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fighters circle, before Dourado throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sakamoto's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Dourado lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
