The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cerruti is defended easily by Le.
Le misses with a takedown attempt - Cerruti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Le tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Cerruti clinches with his opponent.
Cerruti tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Le smiles and moves away.
Le moves in looking to clinch but Cerruti pushes him off.

Le tries to keep at a distance but Cerruti has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cerruti connects with a nasty looking knee right to Le's face.
Cerruti tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Le just stands there and leans against the cage.

Cerruti gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Cerruti has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Le uses from the top position.
Cerruti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Le counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Cerruti is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Le's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Le's back!
Cerruti really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Le.

Le looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
