Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Flikflak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin has chosen pantera walk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shane Carwin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Flikflak counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Flikflak.
Flikflak is pushing down on Carwin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carwin is fighting to maintain full guard but Flikflak has managed to sneak the leg through.
Flikflak not doing much here.
Carwin is trying to escape back to his feet but Flikflak uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Flikflak is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carwin pushes Flikflak away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Flikflak gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Carwin tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carwin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Carwin tries to buck Flikflak off but Flikflak takes his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Flikflak working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Carwin is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Flikflak has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Carwin taps out!
