Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alberto Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pep Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alberto Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight. Hernandez has chosen Heart Vacnacy- the wanted as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Alberto Jr throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Hernandez's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Alberto Jr dives in looking to finish as Hernandez flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Alberto Jr's strikes! Alberto Jr is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hernandez's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hernandez was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
