The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inoki clinches up with Parowa and pushes him back against the cage.
Inoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Parowa pulls his leg out and moves away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Inoki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Parowa tries for a takedown but Inoki circles away easily

and Inoki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Inoki is nestled in close to Parowa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Parowa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parowa is trying to hold Inoki in close to prevent damage but Inoki has managed to pass into half guard.
