Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tandi Barsolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apollo Machida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Machida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tandi Barsolo!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Barsolo checks it well.
Barsolo misses with a shot to the body
and Machida counters with a thumping low kick.
Barsolo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barsolo there as he acknowledges the shot.
A head kick by Barsolo misses
and Machida connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Machida lets loose with a powerful body kick. Barsolo will feel that in the morning.
A chopping leg kick lands by Machida.
Barsolo throws a lazy head kick
and Machida cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Machida connects with an inside leg kick.
Machida lands with an uppercut that bounces Barsolo off the cage and back into rage.
Machida really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barsolo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Machidas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Barsolo throws a lazy uppercut
and Machida counters with a nice leg kick.
That kick from Machida tenderised Barsolo's leg. Barsolo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Barsolo looks gassed!
A nice leg kick lands there from Machida.
A nice combination there by Machida.
Barsolo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Machida. Machida obviously looking to wear him down.
Machida turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Machida! Barsolo is out on his feet! Machida rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Barsolo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Barsolo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
