Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between james kerby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kerby's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, the one. Gonzales has chosen Certified Bomb as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kerby fails in his attempt to clinch.
kerby fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gonzales.

kerby's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and kerby counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
james kerby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Gonzales.

Gonzales throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around kerby's waist but Gonzales gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gonzales off to one side.

kerby pushes Gonzales away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gonzales gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to james kerby.
I think Gonzales has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
