Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers throws an off balance right hand
and Kessler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Kessler counters with a series of strikes. Summers will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Kessler counters by clinching up.
Summers goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kessler prevents it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Summers avoids the attempt from Kessler to control.
Kessler is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kessler tries to lock up and control but Summers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kessler is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Summers has taken his back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Summers controlling the positon.
I really don't envy Kessler right now.

Kessler is trying to defend against the choke here but Summers has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Summers Tightens the hold and Kessler taps out furiously! Summers displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
