Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Arealius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arealius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ministry Rock. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Clarke moves into the clinch successfully.
Clarke has Arealius pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Arealius manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Clarke wants to break the clinch but can't.
Arealius misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Clarke.
Arealius lands a damaging elbow.
Clarke wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Clarke is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Arealius pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Arealius pushes off an throws an elbow but Clarke leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Clarke is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Arealius has escaped the position, nice work there.
Clarke is looking to take a break and control but Arealius is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Clarke throws an elbow but Arealius slips to the side and avoids it well.

Clarke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Clarke trying to control but Arealius is working from the bottom.
Clarke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Arealius is looking for a triangle but Clarke pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clarke tries to free his leg and advance position but Arealius is retaining full guard.

Clarke content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Arealius has locked up a guillotine! Arealius's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Clarke is holding on here and Arealius must be using up a lot of energy. Clarke has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Arealius gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
