Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Byron Derksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pratt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derksen comes into the arena with Mindless Self Indulgence- Bitches blaring out of the sound system. Pratt has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derksen has his takedown stuffed
and Pratt makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Derksen really felt that one!
Derksen takes a swing at Pratt's ribcage but misses.

Derksen is trying to drag Pratt to the mat but Pratt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Byron Derksen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pratt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Derksen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Derksen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pratt sprawls well initially but Derksen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pratt is looking to improve his position.
Derksen looks to land a strike but Pratt avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Pratt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Derksen!
