Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Grimsrud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikko Perkele will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkele shoots in but no luck this time.
Grimsrud throws a hook to the side of Perkele's head but Perkele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Grimsrud has managed to clinch.

Grimsrud has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Perkele is trying to keep an underhook but Grimsrud manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Perkele on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grimsrud connects with a nice short shot to Perkele's temple.

Perkele looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grimsrud is fending him off so far but Perkele persists. Nope, Grimsrud circles away and we're back to standing.

Perkele tries to keep at a distance but Grimsrud has taken the fight into the clinch.

Perkele has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grimsrud is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grimsrud is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Grimsrud looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Perkele with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Perkele is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grimsrud's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grimsrud's back!
Grimsrud wants to control his opponent's hands but Perkele gets his hands free.

I really don't envy Grimsrud right now.
Perkele doesn't have the hooks in and Grimsrud manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grimsrud is working Perkele over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Perkele looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Grimsrud with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Grimsrud is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Perkele is working an open guard so Grimsrud takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Perkele will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Christian Grimsrud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikko Perkele.

Grimsrud cracks Perkele with an uppercut from hell and Perkele crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Grimsrud's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Perkele is rocked!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grimsrud gets to his feet - Perkele follows without any prompting.
No luck for Perkele with that takedown attempt.

Grimsrud postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Perkele covers up, he's hurt! Grimsrud keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Grimsrud and the ref steps in to end the fight! Grimsrud can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
