Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Snerve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snerve scores with a three punch combo!
Clark misses with a wild combination.
Clark misses with a few strikes there.
Snerve works over Clark's head and body with a nice combination.
Snerve misses with a double jab.
Snerve throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clark's waist but Clark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snerve off to one side.

Snerve throws a right and a left that Clark avoids nicely.

Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Clark is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Snerve has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Snerve!
Clark wants to sweep but no luck.
Clark wants to hit a switch here but Snerve passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Clark there!

Clark tries to lock up and control but Snerve gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Snerve throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snerve wants to control the pace but Clark is squirming around nicely.

Snerve can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Clark is looking to escape.

Snerve goes for an armbar but Clark turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Clark.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Clark's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Clark wants to clinch up but Snerve keeps it at a distance.

Clark's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Clark gets caught flat footed, as Snerve shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Clark wants to sweep here but Snerve controlling him for the moment.
Clark is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Clark looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Snerve puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Snerve content to control rather than advance.

Andre Clark has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Clark slaps away a takedown attempt from Snerve, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Clark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snerve swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Clark tries to clinch but Snerve is having none of it.
Clark misses with a two punch combination.
Snerve throws a series of strikes that have Clark backpedaling.
Clark doesn't manage to clinch there - Snerve circles away.
Snerve stalks Clark and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clark's face. Clark staggers backwards, shaken.

and Snerve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Snerve throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clark was covering up waiting for the punch and Snerve finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Snerve closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Clark tries to get to full guard but Snerve has control of the leg.
Snerve is taking a breather. Clark says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Snerve wants to take a breather but Clark is having none of it.

Snerve misses with a few strikes there.

and Clark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Snerve won't be happy with that.
Snerve is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Snerve is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Snerve has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
