PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drederick Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inferno Sniper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sniper has chosen Can't Stop Me Now as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Inferno Sniper enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sniper misses with a takedown
and Tatum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Inferno Sniper has been cut.

Tatum looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Tatum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sniper dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inferno Sniper has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Sniper just misses with a punch to the body.

Sniper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tatum's guard.
Tatum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sniper on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sniper is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tatum is controlling him.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tatum loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sniper manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tatum manages to get himself to full guard.

Tatum throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sniper escapes and throws Tatum's legs to the side, diving into side control!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Inferno Sniper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Sniper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tatum is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sniper is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tatum to the mat. Tatum regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Drederick Tatum will probably get the nod.

We're going to have a standup here because Drederick Tatum wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Inferno Sniper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sniper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
