The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishima shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Myers sprawls well. Myers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mishima gets slowly back to his feet.

Mishima changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Myers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mishima tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Myers tries to escape but Mishima is in control.
Mishima is looking to take a break and control but Myers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Myers is looking to reverse the position.
Mishima wants to lay and pray for a moment but Myers keeps working.
Mishima works to advance to full mount. Myers defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Myers is controlling an arm, preventing Mishima from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Mishima has control of Myers's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Myers regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mishima has hold of Myers's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Myers manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
