Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gilberto Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Bitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gilberto Alves has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gilberto Alves seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alves is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bitch's half guard.

Alves is stalling here. Bitch is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Alves seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bitch has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Alves drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bitch looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bitch looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bitch!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bitch is thwarting Alves's attempts to control the position.
Alves pushes Bitch off looking to stand but Bitch dives back in and keeps control.

Alves wants to sweep but Bitch has passed to side control!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
