Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chase Gooden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Yuen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chase Gooden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Howard Yuen!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gooden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yuen counters with a right hand to the body.

Gooden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yuen was covering up waiting for the punch and Gooden finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Yuen controls Gooden momentarily but Gooden frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yuen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gooden's guard.

Gooden has his foot on Yuen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yuen works his way back into a safe position though.

Yuen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
