Wajs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Walka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wajs rushes PrudHomme and presses him up against the cage.

PrudHomme gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Wajs manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Wajs throws a hook but PrudHomme avoids it easily.

PrudHomme shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
PrudHomme scores with a couple of good head shots there.

PrudHomme has hold of Wajs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wajs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

It looks like Mateusz Wajs has been cut.
A big strike lands for PrudHomme! That's really hurt Wajs and he's turned his back - PrudHomme keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! PrudHomme jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
